HellOnHeart, a pseudonym that reflects my obsession for grief in multifaceted forms, including places, environment, love, ourselves, and the essence of our world.
‘Places we loved’, holds a special significance for me… It delves into the profound attachment we develop for our surroundings, exploring the emotional resonance and personal narratives tied to each location. It’s a reflection on our intricate relationship with spaces, unraveling the emotions, memories, and stories intertwined within them. These environments, witnesses to our lives, become extensions of our identity, shaping our experiences and influencing our perceptions. Losing a place signifies losing a part of ourselves, necessitating the grieving of both our external environment and our internal identity.
